What this site collects
Split Money is a calculator that runs entirely in your browser. The names, dishes, prices and settings you enter are stored only on your own device (in your browser's local storage) so they are still there the next time you open the page. They are never sent to us or to any server, and we cannot see them.
The site has no accounts, no sign-in and no forms that submit data.
Hosting
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may log basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type when the page is loaded. See GitHub's privacy statement.
Fonts
The page loads the Sora typeface from Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font files from Google, which may log the request. See Google's privacy policy.
Advertising
We may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Sharing images
When you use "Share as image", the picture is generated on your device and handed to the app you choose. We do not receive a copy.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
